Adela Trujillo          FRANCIS  GRISET  MEMORIAL AWARD
$500 Award
Adela quickly obtained the respect of the Interview Committee as she described how important a proper diet is to our health. Fighting the stereotype of a single teen Mother, Adela has instilled these good eating habits in her young son.  Being a single Mom, maintaining a home, volunteering within the community, working full time and attending school is just part of the daily challenges Adela  masters each day. Her approach to enjoying life and good nutrition is a great example.

Bich Ngoc Hoang
$500 Grant
Bich has a desire to make people feel better and has chosen the health industry as the career path for her.  She is undecided between becoming a Nurse or a Pharmacist. One thing she does know is that she will work hard and study hard to do her very best.  She loves the challenges of learning and even enjoys studying.   Although a very recent immigrant to the United States, Bich remains focused and determined to reach her educational goal of receiving a Masters Degree.
